The Peninsula Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui was honoured the most gorgeous hotel located east of Suez Canal. Delicately built in a style that captures the spirit of La Belle Époque of the 19th Century, the clock is stopped in the Hotel where reminiscence of the good old days is retained on every step of the staircase and every corner of the magnificent architecture. The hotel is still working its wonders and charming every visitor with its European elegance today.
The Hotel has seen the city’s evolution throughout a century. Extension works were carried out in the 90s to extend the original design. Newly added sections were constructed under the principle of retaining original style and ambience including layout, architectural features and indoor environment. The extension works seamlessly blended the old and the new structures with a perfect mix of modern architectural materials. Features, scales and design proportions of the original structure were interpreted with modern eyes, paying a tribute to the golden era of Hong Kong.
位於尖沙咀的半島酒店，曾被譽為蘇伊士運河以東最華麗的酒店，它的設計秉承了十九世紀美好年代 (La Belle Époque) 的嬌媚風采。酒店裏的每級台階以至每個角落，像是把時光凝住了，至今仍然散發著歐式大酒店的雍容。
大酒店見證了近一個世紀的滄海桑田，在九十年代初進行了擴建。新設計的概念是作為原建築的延伸，在平面設計，建築特色和室內環境上都能將新的擴建部份配合原有酒店的氣氛，使新、舊建築物在形態上連成一體，揉合現代建築物料，將原有建築的特色及比例尺度，重新演繹，以此向一段珍貴的香港年華致意。
