Architecture does not stand alone by itself. It relates to people. We live inside it, work inside it. This time, we are inviting people of our city to contribute to us a photo of any piece of architecture of the selected 100 works of Hong Kong architecture, together with a short article of 100-200 words (in English), to share with us their own stories. Is it the place that you grew up in? Is it the school that you spent teenage years? What was your unforgettable story in that piece of architecture? We are looking forward to hearing from our people, their stories about themselves, and with that piece of architecture.

After collating the materials received, we target to display part of the collection in an exhibition to be held in March 2015, to share with the public the undiscovered treasures from our community. For enquiry and or sharing of your stories, please state your HKID English Name, Email and contact number and email to my10mostliked@archicentre.hk. The submission deadline is 31st March 2015 (HK Time: 11:59pm).

Shortlisted entries will be uploaded onto Facebook for public online voting from 6th April 2015 (HK Time: 00:00am) to 20th April 2015 (HK Time: 11:59pm). The top three entries receiving the most “Liked” will win the following prizes:
First Prize : Shopping Coupon of HK$3,000 and a 1-year free membership of the Hong Kong Architecture Centre (1 prize)
Second Prize : Shopping Coupon of HK$2,000 and a 1-year free membership of the Hong Kong Architecture Centre (1 prize)
Third Prize : Shopping Coupon of HK$1,000 and a 1-year free membership of the Hong Kong Architecture Centre (1 prize)

Results of the activity will be announced on 26th April 2015. Winners will be notified individually for attending the prize presentation ceremony at Oil Street.

Led by local architects or professionals, the guided tours aim to provide the general public with a more thorough understanding of the historical backgrounds and the exclusive architectural features of some of the 100 shortlisted pieces, enriching participants with the history and culture of Hong Kong over the last century. In these sharing sessions, our invited specialists and senior members are ready to share with the public the extraordinary stories of the 100 shortlisted pieces of My 10 Most ‘Liked’ Hong Kong Architecture of the Century, from which the participants will be able to understand the architectural features together with the historical and social meanings of Hong Kong architecture, facilitating them to select the 10 Most “Liked” Hong Kong Architecture of the Century in the event website. Continuity in conservation and passing on knowledge from generation to generation requires constant effort. Our Education & Young People’s event provides custom-designed platforms for the young people to share with others their views and ideas on Hong Kong Architecture, and at the same time plans to create a blog for the younger generation to express their personal attachment to my10mostliked@archicentre.hk. They will be asked to draw their own icon on a sheet of A4 paper, stand in front of their liked architecture with the drawing on hand and take their own selfies, and lastly submit to HKAC the photos together with paragraphs of their personal feelings. Their submissions will be posted on the blog for sharing and liking. Lastly, a party event will be held for celebration of My 10 Most ‘Liked’ Hong Kong Architecture in the Century and Most ‘Liked’ 100+ Public Submissions. Not limited to the shortlisted 100 architectures, this event welcomes all submissions on any Hong Kong Architecture items to which the participants have their personal attachment.

建築物的知識和保育，有賴一代又一代人的不斷努力，才得以永續承傳。「十築香港–我最愛的‧香港百年建築」專為青少年設計的教育活動「百大以外‧新一代最Like建築選」，讓青少年自由分享他們對香港建築的種種想法。「百大以外‧新一代最Like建築選」將會設立一個專屬部落格，年輕一代可以在此平台細數他們對香港建築物的情意結：欲參加的青少年朋友，只需拿著在一張畫有自創個人圖案的A4紙、站在自己最喜歡的建築物前自拍，然後將自拍照連同一段簡短的個人感想電郵至 my10mostliked@archicentre.hk，我們就會把作品張貼於部落格，讓公眾欣賞及「讚好」。參加者選取的香港建築物，並不限於入圍「香港百年建築100」的一百項建築，只要你與「它」有過感情有過經歷，就可以與「它」一起參加。獲得最多「讚」的參加作品，將會在壓軸的頒獎禮派對上，與十項「十築香港–我最愛的‧香港百年建築」一同向公眾發表，請踴躍參加，與你最喜愛的建築物盡情自拍！

Scheduled from 1st January to 6th February 2015, public voting allows Hong Kong’s general public to vote for the 10 best entries from the final selected list in "My 10 Most ‘Liked’ Hong Kong Architecture of the Century", and to even get prizes! The results will be announced at the award presentation-cum-opening ceremony of exhibition on 20 March 2015, followed by a public exhibition in Garden Court, Pacific Place, Admiralty between 20th and 26th March 2015.

「十築香港 – 我最愛的．香港百年建築」公眾選舉於2015年1月1日至2月6日舉行，全港市民皆可從入圍的一百項香港建築物中，投票選出十項「我最愛的．香港百年建築」。凡參與投票者，更有機會獲得豐富獎品！投票結果將於2015年3月20日展覽開幕禮上公佈，隨後於3月20至26日在金鐘太古廣場Garden Court舉辦公開展覽。

A public exhibition “MY 10 MOST ‘LIKED’ HONG KONG ARCHITECTURE OF THE CENTURY” will take place in Garden Court, Pacific Place, Admiralty between 20th and 25th March 2015 to mark the conclusion of the campaign. Apart from displaying the final 10 pieces of Hong Kong architecture voted by the public, other shortlisted architectural pieces will also be shown in the exhibition to familiarize the general public with the architectural splendor and legendary histories of Hong Kong’s architecture. Another exhibition will be held in Oil Street, North Point from 1st to 30th April 2015 and a series of inspiring workshop would be featured during the exhibition.

「十築香港 – 我最愛的‧香港百年建築」活動將以一個公開展覽作結。除了展出在公眾選舉中得票最多的十項建築項目外，其餘入圍「十築香港 – 我最愛的‧香港百年建築」的作品都會在展覽上佔一席位，讓公眾一邊欣賞建築之美，一邊細味香港的傳奇歷史。展覽將於二零一五年三月二十日至二十五日於金鐘太古廣場 Garden Court 舉行。另一場展覽會於二零一五年四月一日至三十日於北角油街舉行，屆時亦會有一連串實用的工作坊供市民自由參予。
