Hong Kong Wetland Park is situated at the northwestern tip of the territory. Together with Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, Hong Kong Wetland Park is one of the top three theme parks in Hong Kong, honoured with over 20 local and international design awards.

The Park of 60 hectares unveils not only the beauty of nature but also a venue resembling a “birdcage” as a sarcastic statement that the roles of human and birds are swapped here – people trapped in a birdcage while birds are soaring free. The Oyster Shell Wall displayed on the door front suggests human greed in taking advantage of the natural environment.

The shape of Hong Kong Wetland Park bears a resemblance to a half-moon, with the focus on central axis extending throughout the park in the form of water. There are four stilts in the middle of the lake. When birds rest on the stilts, a line connecting four elements - “sky, land, man, bird” is formed, completing the core idea behind the architectural design of this site.
